A quintessential South Fork Valley ice climb, this is one of the 50 classic ice climbs of North America. This multi-pitch route is also called “The Alpine Simulator.”
This clinic will provide instruction in more advanced movement and techniques on the ice, including techniques for climbing vertical ice. In addition, instructors will offer insight into being a competent partner and climbing efficiently, saving energy and promoting stamina in the mountains.
2:1 Clinics – These are big days in the mountains. Expect 7-9 hours of movement, climbing and navigating difficult terrain.
