This climb is one of the shortest approaches in the Big Horn Basin and is a short 75-mile drive from Cody. It is a bit longer of a drive but the 15-minute approach to 20M of gorgeous ice is totally worth it. This ice climb is perfect for the beginner offering lots options to make it easier or harder.
This clinic will focus on the basic skills needed to follow a lead climber confidently. This includes footwork and tool placement, effective use of ice climbing gear and layering clothing, and key safety precautions.
